Working draft — placeholder wording pending review by a qualified lawyer and the CNDP. Not a binding legal document.
These terms describe how docare may be used. They are a working draft pending review by a qualified lawyer.
The service
docare provides software for managing a medical practice: patients, appointments, consultations, prescriptions, documents, labs, a public professional page, and doctor-initiated AI assistance. It is a tool for a licensed professional; it does not practise medicine and does not make clinical decisions.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for holding the professional licences and authorisations required to practise; for the lawful basis to enter and process your patients' data; for reviewing every AI-generated draft before it becomes part of a record; and for keeping your account credentials secure.
AI assistance
AI features produce drafts to be reviewed and approved by you. They can be wrong or incomplete. Nothing an AI feature outputs enters a patient's record until you approve it. You remain the author of the record.
Patient communication
Automated messages are limited to appointment-related, transactional content by default. You control the templates and automation. You must respect patients' communication preferences and opt-outs, which the platform records and enforces for automated messages.
Acceptable use
Do not use docare to access data that is not yours, to send unsolicited marketing under the guise of appointment messaging, to probe or attack the service, or to break the law of the jurisdiction you practise in.
Availability, liability and changes
Service levels, warranties, limitation of liability, suspension, termination and how changes to these terms are notified will be specified in the finalized, lawyer-reviewed version. This draft creates no such commitments.
Data
How docare handles personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. A separate data-processing agreement will govern docare's processing of patient data on your behalf.
